This is the usual course for the Mt Ashland Hillclimb mt bike race. The start may vary. The route has been more or less the same for the last 20 years or so. Head up Winburn to Granite around the reservoir in Lithia Park, now on Glenview (dirt). Turn right up the Ashland Loop Rd, crossing Terrace St (now on pavement again) and turn right at the Morton intersection and follow Ashland Loop Rd (again dirt) all the way up to Four Corners. Turn left at FS-600 and after a bit of a descent, turn right on FS-2080. Climb up to the Bull Gap TH and turn up the final climb up to the Mt Ashland Lodge.
