This loop could be started at Four Corners, Eastview TH, BullGap, Mt Ashland, or Grouse Gap. It could be run either clockwise or counter. This version starts off at 4 Corners and runs counterclockwise with the easiest miles first, followed by a fairly brutal, but scenic ascent up Wagner Glade and then south along the Split Rock trail. The route then jumps onto the PCT until Grouse Gap where it joins Rd 20 until just before the Mt Ashland lodge. The route then heads down the Bullgap trail to BullGap TH and continues on the lower BullGap trail to Upper Eastview (currently without a sign!). Upper Eastview climbs briefly before descending to 2080, crossing to Lower Eastview and around to Eastview TH and 2080 again (also known as Tolman Creek Rd and Ashland Loop Rd on various maps). Follow this to 2080-600 to return to Four Corners.
