This trail climbs steeply from the intersection of Caterpillar and White Rabbit to crest a ridge at the intersection with the Mike Uhtoff trail before descending to the White Rabbit trail.
The Queen of Hearts trail is one of several trails advanced by Forest Service recreational specialist, Phil Akerman in the 1990s.
